Now that you have decided to partake in a most unique and memorable
airboat expedition, unparalleled in it's beauty and unusual inhabitants, be prepared to experience the timeless ecosystem known as the Florida Everglades.
As we motor down and turn off the prop driven engine and slide the whisper-quiet electric trolling motor into place the tranquil
Florida Everglades come alive as we quietly glide over the water’s top with the sounds of wildlife all around
us. As if time has stood still for centuries the Florida
Everglade's wetlands are host to hundreds of bird species and are the most significant breeding grounds for tropical wading birds in North America. It is the largest designated wilderness in the southeast and home of fourteen endangered and nine threatened wildlife species. You might have the opportunity to see and photograph native wildlife in their natural habitats such as deer, bear, raccoon, opossum, birds such as bald eagles, herons, osprey and sand hill cranes, fish, alligators, snakes, turtles, frogs, otters, manatee, orchids, aquatic and wetland plant life. Don’t forget your camera because the photo opportunities are by chance and
inconsistent at best. Our expert guides diligently keep
track of as many of the ever-changing, nesting, roosting,
sunning and feeding locations that are visited by many different
species of Everglades wildlife, in an effort to make your tour
an enjoyable and rewarding viewing and photo experience.
